From the personal experience of someone who went to this school from 2008 to 2015, I can say how much it's gone downhill since around 2012/2013. First of all, in late 2013, the school ran into financial problems, with the headteacher falling out and arguing with the governors in 2014, until she left in July. They struggled to find a replacement, so put an interim headteacher in from Morice Town, who we'd formed a partnership with to try and save us. Our deputy head went over there in exchange. Eventually Ofsted came sometime that year and downgraded us to 'Good', which was a massive shame. In April 2015, the interim was replaced by the new headteacher, and she overhauled the behaviour and timetable system. The new behaviour system was more lenient, leading to overall worse class learning, the timetable was ludicrous at this point, and the teachers couldn't gjve a damn any more. Luckily I left for secondary before it could get any worse. Apparently, she's now restructured almost everything, including class structure, size and names, as of September 2016. And with that whole negative press about the Christmas jumper, the school isn't getting a great image and in no time will be Satisfactory. I'll put it this way: If you'd asked if it was a good idea to send your child here in 2013, I would've said yes at a heartbeat. If you'd asked now, the answer would be a firm no.
Great school. The kids had a great time there. Some of the parents seem to think they are on Footballers Wives or something.

Fantastic school! I wish my children could have stayed there forever! The teachers and head teacher, couldn’t have been more helpful and caring. The last review on here couldn’t be further from the truth, in my experience.
Amazing school, amazing staff. My son enjoyed every day at this school, he made great progress in all subjects including ones he found challenging. He had the benefits of great teaching, and wonderfull experiences outside of school which gave him a solid grounding for the next stage of his life in secondary school .
